Speed Up to 100 - Confused (again)

Speed up 100? What is this - where does it come from and what causes it?

AI Ships warping in to me suddenly have super speeds - no adjacent ships or buildings could possible cause this. And they also bypass my tractors because of this  :o

Is this the range to center speed up gone haywire? Its still well within my gravity well - and i do mean the warp point is not only within my gravity well but not even *close* to the border.

And they keep their 100 speed until they reach my home command station too.... ehm, confused  - is this a bug or a feature?

I sure sound like a noob today but yeah ;P

experimentalist bringing speed boosters? speed demon type ai? speed train?

Speed Demon AI? There is such a thing?  :o

Well i admit i am playing on "full random-non tech" AI level - but without trains and i don't see speed boosters. I see a IV world though.

I just put gravity turrets everywhere so the problem is solved.. i just found it odd

I only noticed this when I was playing with the AI, Speed Racer.
But I also see a astro train with speed booster on the same game.

So I don't know if the astro train gives a permanent boost to speed or its the special for speed racer.

Heh thats pretty cool - i never knew there *is* such a AI type - well its a challenge but all that changes is more defenses at my command station and less at the wormholes.. no problem ,)

These new gameplay changes though - still gotta get used to them.

Its an enemy unit in the game that moves from train station to train station, doing various levels of damage to you... and they are (nearly) invincible

Any level, it's just a matter of whether they're turned on in the setup options or not.
