Some very good news for our OSX players on Steam...

The in-game updater will work properly as of version 6.0 (out later today) without your having to download any separate applications or anything.  Sorry it took so long on this, but glad it is all settled now!   Just tested it in the beta branch through steam, and it works great. :)

Thanks!  It's not quite out on Steam yet -- still early am there -- but it's out on GamersGate and our site.  Coming soon to Gamestop and elsewhere also, but might well be Monday on those.

The 75% off of all prior releases is also a nice weekend bonus.

The in-game updater has worked fine for me as long as I can remember. I guess maybe I DLed something ages ago to let it work, I don't recall, I've always just used the in-game updater. But umm, yay that it's fixed I guess?  :D
