Question
« on: February 12, 2010, 09:54:50 am »
Is there a quick way to select all units of the same type in a stack, regardless of mark level? I use the n+number+drag combinations a lot, but miss a way to select all my bombers, say.

Id like to know this too. Something like shift-double click would make sense.

the buttons on the planetary report (the thing on the right of your screen) can be used to select all of <type> on that planet - for instance, clicking the bomber button selects all bombers on the planet that you control, perhaps that is what your looking for?

Yes, great, why didn't I think of that myself? Thanks a lot. :)

I may be remembering this wrong, but the same thing can be accomplished with a selection.  Click the selection button on the bottom (will show a list of all ships) then shift click on bombers I for example will select all bombers, not just bombers I.  Again, I may be remembering that wrong.

This info is what I really wanted in the first place, sometimes I don't want all bombers on a planet, but just the ones in my current selection. So thanks, Lyrae.
