Better yet, hide the ARS possibles until you hack the system.

Opened your save. My computer wept. Switched to the ST planet and ship icons filled my screen, so I zoomed out. Game told me that it _was_ totally zoomed out. You could seriously walk from one end of the inner grav well to the other without getting your feet cold.

Why?  Currently you need to get a Science Lab into the system, which means having done a certain level of clearing to get even a cloaked Mk II there.  This means you have to apply a little effort to it, but not a large effort or anything with a permanent cost.

If you make it necessary to do something more than that, like perform a hack, we run into the original problem:  Most people will save scum - do whatever the requirement is, then revert back.
Fixing that is why the labs were given the ability to see what the possible unlocks were before deciding to hack or not.

I'm not advocating a change to either direction.  I think it's fine the way it is.  Some of these folks want it even easier  ::)

Yeah, I'm not in the "folks [that] want it even easier" (any more). To clean and send a MkII SL feel fun enough for just scouting the ARS. So nothing interesting to put in a MkIII SL. The topic seems closed, IMO.
Please excuse my english: I'm not a native speaker. Don't hesitate to correct me.
