Is it going slowly because he has 65 planets? ;)

Apparently he has been playing this way for two years now. I honestly am completely baffled - I was pretty sure the tutorials taught that most planets werent worth taking..

tbh I often play in the "standard rts" way of conquering everything, it makes the game challenging in a different way to normal. However I also normally only do that on a snake style map so I can build a front door ;)  It also manage to slow down my overclocked i7 system running at 4.8GHz....

If you are playing Fallen Spire, you just about have to do so that way. Every city needs every world next to them clear, and if you clear them, you might as well capture them.

That brings me back to when I popped 13 Omegas with a Mk III nuke in a test game. I had a wave of 1,5 million ships incoming. If that had spawned, I think my computer would've spontaneously self-combusted.
