More and more expansions coming, great. But what about a prequel to AI War (in suggestions, no catagory
found)?
It's like the movie 9, it was originally a small short movie. When it became popular, the producers had to make a backstory for missing parts of the story. (that was the tldr part)
The story of how humans dominated the galaxy(part 1), how civil war broke out(part 2) and how AI war wasted us all(part 3)IS GOLD.
At first, I would think these expansions would just be minigames as in tower defense the AI and such. But the reality of how much content this can contain blew my mind. It can be expansions, minigames, campaigns, updates or even an entirely new game.
From what I believe, the first part of the expansion is how humans colonize the universe. This would include very primitive weapons, fighting aliens (golem type big aliens as AI is not in here yet). It would be fun as in weaker ships to defeat large aliens and colonize planets, in a way you can think of it an expansion where you defeat aliens instead of AI ships.
Part 2 of the expansion is you already colonized the galaxy, but your arch enemy decided to take over the universe, so it's star wars all over again. Perhaps you control half the galaxy and try to destroy your enemy's home planet. Encouraging VS modes and multiplayer. Or even like warcraft or starcraft control one planet and destroy others (no if you don't like ai war becoming another game)
Part 3 of the expansion is the AI betrays you all and hunts you down to one planet. OR DO THEY? It's basically you becoming the AI (you control most planets i believe) and the AI tries to take you down with massive forces. Another massive tower defense game.
Including campaigns would give us a lot more idea about the ai universe. I would just love to know how AI betrayed us and how they owned us all (ironically just like how we kinda betrayed them and owned the AI)
