Single Planet Control Node behavior
« on: July 05, 2010, 12:25:07 pm »
Some planets I clear out, but do not take over for one reason or another (no resources, don't want warps there, etc). I do however use it for energy (early game, when its harder to come by). The single planet  control node for engineers only builds if there is a command station present. Could this behavior work if there is a mobile builder present too?

While I could understand your reasons for not putting a command station there, might it be more appropriate to build one anyway? are the resources gained by the (especially higher mark) command stations worth the bit of turrets youd leave there?

well, you can always spend more resources on a warp jammer, or else just build another mk2 generator on your planet if your that desperate

Or else just gate raid ;)

I would like this too, more because you can't do the same thing on allied planets, so if you're both holing up one system as your main bottleneck or something it's a hassle for the person who doesn't have the CS.
