I read the essay by Paul Graham in your sig, great read. I have always regarded gaming software as an art form in itself, game designers are artists in their own right. Well, some of them are, people like x4k and keith. The whole situation around gaming reminds me of my youth: Back then cartoons was regarded as low culture, today you can take a degree in cartoons at the university. Of course computer science is taught at the universities today, but there is a new trend in the liberal arts, I am aware that quite a few degrees has been earned the last few years by analyzing gaming software from a litterary/artistic/humanities standpoint.
