Remains auto-scrapping when cap is hit, should that stay?

I've personally been a bit annoyed by the fact that remains are auto-scrapped if what they rebuild to is at their cap. I lose a bunch of nifty positioning information just because I didn't realize stuff was still waiting to be rebuilt. It seems more intuitive to me that the remains would simply be unable to be rebuilt, but still be there.

Anyone else have any thoughts, before I toss it onto mantis?

EDIT: Possible alternative, remains still consume supply of the thing they will rebuild too.

EDIT2: Also, the remains rebuilder bug getting "stuck" on lower priority stuff (http://www.arcengames.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=14662) is still around.

If the un-rebuildable remains were not removed, the remains rebuilders would keep getting stuck on them :)

Yea, that sounds like the worse of two evils ATM. Until that can get fixed, I would rather have the current behavior.

The "making remains still consume ship cap of what they will rebuild too" would be fine for me, but I can imagine a lot of players would not be fine with it. ;)
