Red circle under some wormholes?

Hello, I'm new to this game. I just notice that when I place down buildings, sometimes some 8000 range wide red circles would appear around certain wormholes. What does that mean? Thanks.

I would presume you play with a red team color? In that case, its probably some range indicator for a turret or something at your wormholes as it displays range indicators while building stuff.
