Vanguard too easy?

I'm testing the Vanguard and the Mime AI types. AIP is 77 atm and Vanguard seems ridiculously easy. Vanguard only sent about 33 Guardians while Mime sent about 1100 fleet ships. Mime's wave managed to destroy the Command Station while Vanguard's wave didn't do anything. Maybe Vanguard should get additional Guardian unlocks immediately? I know Raider Guardians are scary..

It's certainly possible that the strength value of guardians is too high (thus making them overpriced compared to fleet ships).  And I could check into broadening the vanguard's initial range of guardians, yes, though I think it gets some extra types already.

Ok. Though I'm a bit worried that buffing Guardians' strength value would affect other areas of the game too much. Dunno. How hard or easy the Vanguard AI is depends a lot the Guardian unlocks. Raider and Implosion Guardians = insta pain.

I just tried something !fun!.. Vanguard can be scary too if combined with the right secondary AI type:

Haha, yea, there's no pain that techno-raider can't make into more pain.

On the guardian strength value thing I could instead just give Vanguard a buff to its wave budgets.

Or I could make the less-dangerous guardians cost less, while leaving the Raider and Implosion ones where they are (possibly even increasing their costs).

Sounds good.
I don't think there's need to increase Raider and Implosion Guardians' cost.
