I lost that many ships naturally over the course of a campaign. Considering I was regularly shuffling around 2k+ ships towards the end of my campaigns it's not a major surprise.

Doesn't the game track ships lost somewhere? Probably in the mountain of data in the stats pages I'm sure? If someone wanted to set up a save where you only have to send a few more ships to their doom and upload it for the angry legions on the Steam forums, no doubt they would love you forever, or at least for 5 minutes.

Do you have 'complex' ship types enabled? That could be it. Also, you don't necessarily need infiltrators. Autocannon Minipods, Gatlings or any other inflated-cap ship should do the trick.

That was it. I now have a "loss factory" going. Can't wait to get my piece of coal!

You can register you AI War Keys with Steam to link them to your Steam account and play AI War on Steam.

This, but bear in mind that AI War keys are unfortunately frequently key-genned, and you might find that your keys have already been taken. This can be a sticky mess to get worked out. Here's hoping that your keys work!

One further question.

Is it possible to get the achievements to go over to Steam from the retail version, or do I have to take on the AI again when it's at difficulty 10 to get paragon?
