Devourer Golems and Raid Engines

Are Devourer Golems meant to trigger Raid Engines?  I think that might just have happened, and I could see some pretty huge issues from playing against a raid engine AI  :D

Not as far as I know, I've played with both and have never had them trigger on me.....yet.

Devourer golems put a world on alert, so it seems like they would trigger raid engines by definition. Unless there's some special logic there.

Maybe but if it did the wave would hit the world the devourer is on, which would would mean the Devourer is having takeout tonight! *munch munch*

That's a good point about the Devourer Golem having takeout, though I think the devourer would have moved on in the couple minutes it takes for the Raid Engine to hit.  I don't actually know what happened because I think the wave actually came from the opposite direction as the golem (the golem went "north" and the wave came from the "south" I believe), but I haven't scouted out far enough to know for sure.

Here's an interesting challenge for people who like doing that kind of stuff: play against two Raid Engine AI types, build a couple sets of Spirecraft Scouts, and send them all out on Auto-Scout at the same time.  See if you can survive the AI response!

Just park Penetrators on every Raid-engine planet, makes for a more stable number of incoming waves :)
