Hmm.... http://dvice.com/archives/2008/08/here_is_a_compu.php ;)

CRAP!  I already regret saying that sentence above.  Thank goodness I didn't shake any hands when I said that, thus I am not obligated to donate it xD.  Or wait, I'll donate a 1,000 pesos.  A lot easier.  ;)

Personally, I'd just define what "toaster" means.  After all, I don't think that that toaster probably is still able to really toast toast.  Thus it's really more of a "computer dressed up as a toaster," I guess.  But when you said that, I just had to do a quick google, I knew there would be something... ;)

Toaster computer is awesome (bonus points if you get one that still serves its original function!). That said, there are some very cool case mods out there... and some rather creepy ones as well.

Extra bonus points if it uses the exhaust heat as part of the toasting process. ;)

So that explains the rumors about an NVidia/Pillsbury collaboration ;D

Having been practically offline for quite some time, I have to say nice work in the last releases.

It is probably to late already, but could you think again about adding (and displaying) some more metadata to the save games like map seed, played time, etc while you are changing the format? This would be really nice to have.

Welcome back!

Actually, that sort of metadata display on the savegame listing is harder now than it even was, because now the entire save is compressed.  Adding that sort of metadata display on the load game listing would add, I'm guessing, around 0.01 seconds additional load time to display that screen per save file.  Possibly as much as 0.3 seconds.  So with even just 10 saves, you're looking at quite a bit of extra lag with something like that, etc.   It's unfortunately just not on the table -- the only way that operating systems manage that sort of thing is by building caches of that sort of data in other threads behind the scenes (Thumbs.db, etc), but that's a more sizable undertaking than we can really do at the moment.

I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask: Are the LotS music tracks not implemented yet? I might be looking in the wrong place, but the others appear to be under runtimedata\expansions\#\music. But under expansions\3\ I only have an Images folder but no music folder. This is a steam version, if that is likely to make a difference.

They are done, but not released yet.  We tend not to release music tracks until the official version comes out (hopefully next week).  Part of the reason for that is to give people who have been in the beta all along something new to look forward to on release day (since the music doesn't need testing), and also partly because of us needing to save bandwidth, and those files are large, heh.
