Destroying a co-processor raises the AI progress by 20, and destroying the last lowers it by 120. About the details though is it:
1) (+20)*4 - 120 = -40
2) (+20)*3 - 120 = -60
Also, is there always exactly four co-processors? (If so, does the amount they raise or lower the AIP ever change?)
How does the AI floor increase? I notice that although I've done nothing special the AI floor is already at 40. It seems to increase in increments of 10.
The super-processor raises AI progress 1 and then lowers it by two. This affects the floor, but how so? Is the net result that the floor goes up one and the AIP goes down one, and the meet in the middle, at which point the floor begins to raise the overall AIP again?
Also, I read that the super-processor produces enemy units once it's captured and that the rate it produces them increases as it's net effect increases. Is it possible to lose control of the super-processor and thus be unable to destroy it, and then the AIP continues going up 1 per 15 seconds forever; basically ensuring a loss. By lose control of the processor I mean your fleet is destroyed before you kill the processor and then it continues producing units to defend itself (even though you still technically control it) and you never can out produce it since it's always increasing the rate it produces new units at. Or if your command station is destroyed, does this stop the super-processor effects?
EDIT: By super-processor I mean super terminal.
Thanks.
(I have read through much of the wiki and don't recall seeing the answers to these questions.)
