Obviously the balancing is only rough right now, but anyone interested in how the new units stack up can take a look at highlights.xml

Gah! You had to release this right in the middle of a big load of other games coming out didn't you? :)

Oh well, patches and licence acquired since I can't resist hammering out odd bugs and edge cases of a game. :) Though really with playing Borderlands at the moment you'd think I would have had my fill of it by now. :)

x4000, would you mind to explain to me why I would leave my phone number in that shop of yours?
I really don't feel comfortable with leaving my phone number on the internet.

Can't I just buy it via PayPal without all that personal information for that security metrics thingy and my VAT number?

I don't control that sort of thing with our ecommerce partner, unfortunately.  BMT Micro is one of the most popular indie ecommerce partners, and that's simply the form they have.  I wish I could give you a better answer than that, but short of changing ecommerce partners there's not much for me to do...

Did you know I would actually have to go to my towns financial department to get my VAT number?
I'd love to pre-order, but that's all just too much of a hassle.

To be honest, I know almost nothing about VAT -- that seems rather strange that it would be that much of a hassle.  But, actually, I don't see a field where it is asking for a VAT number at all, even when I change the currency to Pounds Sterling or Euros.  Can you clarify?  Also, potentially using Paypal rather than a credit card might make things easier, I don't know.

The grenade launchers are a complex ship type, because they are quite a risk for friendly fire. ;)

From the release notes to the B version:

-Trial mode now allows players to use all ship types, not just the simple ones.  This is particularly useful for people who want to test the expansion ships without buying them.

I'm really looking forward to getting Borderlands this holiday season, too. Glad you're enjoying that one, I've heard it is really good. :)

Hmmm, that's weird.

Ah, yes, the VAT-Field is in the "Additional Information" section. Maybe I don't -have- to fill that out?
I'm using PayPal, that's why I'm wondering why I need all that information, it's really easy via PayPal most of the time.


I'll just fill out the required stuff, skip the VAT-Thingy and see if it works.  :)
