Microfighters are some of my personal favorites.

But yeah, the scout starship is misnamed. It is more of a fleet support ship than a scout. Maybe rename it to 'Intelligence Starship' and make it more expensive but have a wider tachyon range?

Guess I am not in my right mind... I choose Microfighters often as a starting ship. They are relatively cheap, good in swarms, cloaked, and they can decloak enemies. I find them good cannon fodder against many AI types.
