do ships built from an enclave starship go to a rally point? That would be useful..

edit: the rally post unit i meant

but not so useful for using them out of supply
how so? rally points work outside of supply, dont they?

AI-friendly enclave behavior is really annoying. They just sit on a same planet indefinately launching neinzul to the same place, and slowly mass unless you cleanse them. Perhaps have them retreat x systems then plot a new world to attack after launching each wave?

Are they sitting on the AI planet launching younglings through a wormhole to your planet, or coming through the wormhole themselves?  Or do you have ships on their planet and the younglings go after them?

It doesnt matter, ships created from carriers dont go to a rally point anyway.

pretty please can you make them? I will love you forever?  (it will make me plan of a ship that shoots semi-lightning missiles true.. ship that builds zenith autobombs is almost as good :D )

they are sitting on the AI planet launching younglings through the wormhole. once in the 6 hour game one actually came through, but there are about 5 off my borders just pumping neinzul into my wormholes. I dont have any ships on their planet

Ok, yea, they're supposed to actually come through, but I think they must be getting stuck in "antagonized" mode for some reason so they keep releasing their squadrons, and since they never "fill up" they don't act aggressively themselves.  Will look into it when the Unity version gets playable.

The perservation wardens do the same thing. They sit often 2 jumps away launching constant waves, and they stay there doing it. :)

The wardens are supposed to launch them remotely, but they're also supposed to travel out from the AI homeworlds to the border and then back again.

is it intentional that almost every III/IV has a fortress? I find the need to go through the 'terminate the fortress' routine prior to sending in the main fleet every time (at difficulty 8, it seems like almost every world is III/IV :p) is getting a little infuriating

Have you seen this in every game or just in one or two particular games? It's not a Fortress Baron or something similar?

They are rather prevalent in those types of systems--I'm not surprised too much to see that a lot of the planets have fortresses on them.
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

Yeah, when I see a type III or IV I anticipate the presence of a fortress and an ion cannon, I'm surprised by their absence rather than their presence.

Heh I've got fortresses everywhere, and a grav driller to boot. Youknow how gods damned hard it is to get anything near a fortress when its all going speed 8?
