Good point on the scouts needing sniper immunity, that is in for the next version.

Possible bug here, Now that snipers fire instantly i'm not sure Counter sniper turrets do anything. I had one built in enemy territory and it didn't stop the enemy sniper turrets from destroying my remains builder. I would have thought it would do.

Hmm, I thought that was working, but I might have made an error.  Keith, if you have time can you look at that one?

And, welcome to the forums, Varone!

it is wierd how a counter sniper "changes" the course of instant traveling weapons. Like a neutron that deflects x ways maybe.

how about you think of it as a giant magnet that attracts all Railgun Ammo :) of course the magnet is immune to sniper fire so problem solved.

What the counter sniper is is a huge ball of solid BattleSteel, with a super magnet inside. It attracts all the railgun shots, and just absorbs them with its bulk of armor.

Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

It can from the railguns, as the magnet pulls the shots in and loops them around many times so they loose energy before impacting.

Just pulling technobabble out of my butt here. I can do this all day  :D

Cause we all know energy loss due to friction occurs at high rates in a vacuum...  ::)

Now if you suggested the shots enter a perpetual orbit... That would work.  But they won't slow down.

Perhaps the counter sniper turrets need a fuzzy cloud around them to represent the many whizzing sniper shots flying about in a frenzied cloud.  ;D

Ok, thats a better idea.

And rubikscube, we are trying to explain the immunity.
