So I expect we'll be going into release canidate stage where it's bug fix only and now new feature?

The game seems to be polished and well rounded at this point.  Of course there is always more than can be done, but it's good enough for the next month or two.

I start a new game every update anyways.  I'll probably stop updating and actually finish a game now.

Yeah, we're pretty much in release candidate mode for the next week or two.  I'd like to have at least a solid week with no desyncs before releasing, but we'll see what happens.

I'm a bit confused -- if you're not doing tidalis features, and you're not working on AI war... what ARE you doing? (if you don't mind)

Not... doing Tidalis features?  We're working like crazy on Tidalis.  Not sure what you mean.

Keith and I are very tied up this week, though, and aren't doing any non-bugfix stuff for Tidalis. 
That clear it up for you? You must have meant Ai war... :)

Sounds like the perfect mindset for programming.  The compiler wont cut you any slack, and neither will we.  :P

Speaking of attacking astro trains (this might be the wrong thread but meh) are Beam Cannon turrets not supposed to be able to damage them?  Because they don't (as of latest official anyway).

Scouts REALLY need to be immune to snipers now XD...

mk1? Pretty much. Cant get very far out... one tacheon on a wormhole and several die.
Even MK2 and MK3 feel substantial losses.

Well thats good info then. I agree, if thats so scouts really do need sniper immunity.

Maybe only Mk II scouts and up get that immunity. To continue the tradition of making people agonize over what to spend their knowledge on  ;D

If a scout is revealed it's pretty much dead anyways.  Even if immune to snipers the regular turrets which surround every wormhole would still crush it.
