-Metal and Crystal manufactories no longer cost energy to run.

Nice. I'm gonna fill up an entire system with them.

Did I mention they now attract exo-galaxy devourer golems?

-Despite a series of fixes to prevent this, snipers were moving a little when processing an attack order.  Fixed Snipers to Not. Move. When. Given. An. Attack. Order.

In the expansion, there is a Tag Teamer AI that does just that. :)

Yea, basically the AI was always acting like a tag-teamer, I was surprised to find that I didn't hear about that bug until I found it myself :)

I saw it last Friday, but I just assumed I was playing against a tag-teamer because it was a new game and I had not yet identified the random AI types. :)

Oh so thats what a tag-teamer does. I was a little pissed when my scouts caused a mini cpa even when not against a tag-teamer. Glad its fixed.

Not sure, but I think we've run into cases where scouts set off large numbers of special forces early in the game, which can quickly spiral out of control if they knock out a home command station or two  :o

One important note: with the tag teamer, it doesn't cause the ships to break free of their guard posts -- as with how the ships react when you start attacking the AI home planet command station, they'll come out, kill your stuff, and then go back to their guard posts if you die off.  So that prevents the scouts from stirring those guys up as you were seeing with this past bug.

okay... I'm not sure if this is related to tag teaming (I'm not using a tag teamer AI) but I managed to attack something, and the ai progress spiked.

(difficulty 7) the AI is now sending a seemingly endless stream to my homeworld. this is a snake map btw. please tell me whether it's the map, difficult, AI, or some random fluke. thx

If you destroyed the command station of a planet then ships on the planet can become "unlocked". also if there is an alarm thingy on the planet you will have ships from all neighboring planets attack you.

You might want to read the wiki/manual. Otherwise your going to get this behavior ALOT. The game plays different from anything else. Its almost a puzzle game in addition to the RTS/Tower Defense/4x its advertised as

Another possibility is a raid engine on that planet or a neighboring planet.

I suggest you scout all connected systems ASAP --- if one has a raid engine, your next task is to mount a raid specifically to kill the engine or life will continue to be 'very interesting' :)
