Possible Bug: Command Station Killed Without AI Response

Just a quick observation, since 3.0 I've noticed that I can take out a Orbital Command Station without first clearing out the sector, and while the AI will begin to charge a wormhole, they will "bounce" back and forth between the wormhole and where the Comm center used to be, without ever going through the wormhole. This has happened reliably about 10-15 times, to the point where I don't even defend my wormholes when I'm going straight for the Command Center.

Anyone else notice this?

This may be due to a bug that is fixed for the upcoming 3.014.  If you still see it in 3.014, can you post a save and steps to duplicate?  Thanks!
