Easy way to post saves is just attach them at the end of a post(under additional options).

Theres nothing in Program Files\Arcen Games\AI War\Save? (or whatever install location\save)

If you are running Vista/7 and have UAC enabled, try looking in C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Arcen Games\AI War\Save

Start -> type in %APPDATA% into the search box, press enter.

From there you have to navigate Backwards one folder (%APPDATA% brings you to Roaming, you need to find Local) - do this by clicking on the 'link' for the appdata folder in the navigation bar.

I just remembered, we are going about it both way too complicated. To find your saves

Start AI War
Go to the Options
Look at the path thats written there (Data Path)

There is your saves. If you can't find it you will still have to enable "view hidden filers and folders though" because appdata is definitely a hidden folder (And the vista search won't search them unless you specifically tell it to as well)

But if you have the Impulse Version, your saves are in Program Files\Indie games\AI War ... for some reason. on Vista x64 its all different again...

;D Now that you found it, by the way.. i can confirm this happening in my games as well, and i can attack the turret debris as well, and these things spawn on top of wormholes (so there ya go ,p)

Stuff spawns a lot on top of stuff.... i think its related to the command stations not shifting on game load anymore, now a lot of things don't shift anymore that the ai spawns though...

Also, stuff that spawns on top makes it impossible to select whats beneath, needn't tell you how bad that is if the lightning turret is base layer and 15 core turrets on top

Yeah - been finding that happening alot lately. Lightning and Tractor turrets spawning on top of an SF guard post = bad news :/

Ah Vista, if we didn't have to spend so much time trying to figure out how to turn off your "features".....

So X, any word on the turret stacking on stuff issue? Having a hard time taking out SF guard posts because every single one seems to have a tractor and lightning turret stacked on top of it so I can't target the SF post cleanly with my missile frigates.

Also having an issue with missile frigates moving in closer than their firing range to take on the SF post - might be due to a small turret on top/under it that I cannot see so they have to get closer than they would for the SF post - it means I lose many frigates taking out those posts right now (more than I would normally due to defenders/turret fire). They get in close and the SF post attack just wipes em off the map, pre 3.0 they would stand off to their proper range and attack (of course there was no stacking of turrets on posts then either).

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I've a request following the pre-release for the base game.

One of the changes was the removal of the lines for munitions boosting ships. I realise it was done for performance reasons, but I really miss the old effect. It hasn't really helped slowdown in huge battles for me either (the slowdown doesn't really concern me as an issue anyway).

What I humbly request is for the option to use the old or new effect to be included in the graphics settings. It strikes as the best of both worlds, though of course I won't be the one implementing it. It'd be great if this made it into the final relese, since it's definitely one of the most visually attractive effects in the game for me. Please let me add it back in as an option !

Again, I hope this is in the right place. Thanks :)
