This would be nice - the new effect is low impact, but it's not very informative except at the closest zoom levels, where I rarely find myself.  I wouldn't mind the option myself.

A few notes -- a new version will be out today for sure, with various fixes.  The collisions thing is entirely related to cold storage I think.  At any rate, I think that I have that fixed, although I am now needing to look at this for how to have it fix existing savegames.

Also, regarding the munitions boosting lines, I'll make that an option, that is a good idea.  Default on or default off... hmmm.  I am thinking perhaps it even makes sense for this to be default on.

Agreed on the default being on. The original damage boost lines were much more user friendly and easier to see. Putting the new style as a green-text checkbox in the options would be perfect.

Thankyou. That's excellent news :D

You will reverse that opinion once you have 7k+ ships in a single battle.. ;p But even i agree that a toggle (and a toggle to toggle them OFF completely) is needed.

Actually i would still toggle them off because.. at some point of gaming one just doesn't care for these lines anymore..

Even with 3-4 special ships unlocked, unless several are swarm ships, I doubt the average player finds fleet sizes of 7000+ with a single planet start.  No doubt it causes some performance issues, but I agree with the lines being drawn by default as most people will never see this fleet level under normal play conditions.
