I'd support this for all units coming from an enclave --- I must say I haven't used one yet but I'd imagine wanting to use them mostly for kamikaze units.
Enclaves are perfect with Doom Shrooms and Vorticular Cutlasses.

LOL and clapping.

I'm going to guess nenzul parasites.

In which case, I agree wholeheartedly.

(also, to the one who worried about blade spawners: Even with FRD on, blade spawners don't move unless told to do so explictly. They even ignore FRD.)
Life is short. Have fun.

An enclave producing blade spawners...

It's as if the AI's sanity suddenly died, screaming.

Nah, only lower level AIs would do that. Higher level AIs would pick up on that tactic and start throwing enclaves of their own on loop build into waves, and possibly defense too. ;)

hahaha.

It is all the more funny that my current game I unlocked enclaves, which in turn make spawners, which in turn make blades.

The circle of life continues.
Life is short. Have fun.

We need a way for enclaves to create starships. MK3 enclave producing an enclave spore mk3 that after 1 minute turns into an enclave mk3. :P

Turns out the AI had conducted a bit of economic warfare by scratching it up with some engine damage, rather than the engies just dumping your economy into a disabled build queue ;)

Changing it to not act like that, though.

That's roughly my strategy for my current game.  I didn't even start with Neinzul, just got few lucky ARS unlocks.  4 Enclaves spawning Mark I & II Nanoswarms, Vultures, and Drones--I basically gain ships on a raid.  Kinda wish I had hacked that ARS for Autobombs as well...

I found that I like keeping the Enclave separate from the fleet ball, but close enough to the action for Younglings to get there quickly.  I group-FRD them with a Cloaker, and keep the Enclaves in low-power mode until I'm ready to unleash chaos.  Once I turn them on, they usually distract the AI enough for my fleet to steamroll resistance.  If I see the Enclaves start to take damage, I shut them off and let the Cloaker do its thing.  So far, it's helped me with everything except AI Eyes (I hate those things...).  Keep in mind that I'm still learning the game on 6/6--I have no idea how well or poorly this strategy will work on higher difficulties.
My other bonus ship is a TARDIS.

That's what I did vs 10/10. It works.
AI Eyes are easy if you have Riot Starships and just group move your fleet around the planet destroying the guard posts. Riots will damage the zombies' engines so they will pretty much stay still. Plasma Siege Starships help too since they do engine damage.. even though the're slow.
