Question about # x Wave Size
« on: July 10, 2010, 07:14:19 pm »
How exactly does this work with multiple buildings?

E.g. if i have 3 gravity drill stations:

is 3+3+3= 9 times wave size? or would it be 3 x 3 x 3=27?

Also does the wave size only apply once per building time?

*EDIT*

Also is theere a way to make units hold fire?

I want my eyebots to sneak into a few places, and they simply cannot do when they shoot everything in sight.

Yep, it's 3 x 3 x 3 = 27.  However, that will max out at some point, a single wave entry in the incoming waves list can't be more than something like 2400 units or so.

To have ships hold fire, put them into low-power mode.  I think the hotkey for that is K, but it's the little pause button when they are selected.  That's particularly useful for cloaked ships, as you noted.
