They would attack them (harvesters under exoshields at least) before. I'm not sure why you say they wouldn't unless you meant they would never attack the exo-shield itself.

Hmm, well, at one point they were avoiding it.  May have been more like 3.0.  Or coincidence. ;)

I somtimes used exos, but mostly as buffer on planets harrased by trains. As for time manips they can be usefull on planets not intended to be lost, and they used to stack. Crazy energy use tho.

But with the range of the Counter-Dark Matter Turrets, that's not entirely necessary either.

Far back as I can remember... The AI had a bad tendancy of idiotically obsessing over them. Amusing really, to the point that even if they had used 100% of the reosuce they were tied to I had a few strats they worked great in.

Honestly, last I used them they too more of a beating than a MkI FF... And the AI obsessed over trying to kill them even with FF ineffective units.

Admitted, at the time I think they still were notably very resource hungry. This would be early... 3.0 I believe.

Indeed, they defiantly got a bit too cheap. But I am among those thinking 50% of produced is a ~little~ too much. Also... Didn't they also use energy when they were 2/3 of produced resources? Meaning they used even more than 2/3? XD??? I seem to recall so...

:P Anyway, Will have to give em a try under new specs.

Hmm, maybe have advanced warp sensors also reveal exact wave composition? That could make them very handy in certain situations, potentially even for advanced players.
