Planet Mark Level Display?

Where is this displayed on the galaxy map?  I have names turned on, but I don't see a mark level for any of the planets.

I believe you have to turn that on in the options. I think you need to turn on the Always Show Planet Name in Galaxy Map option in the interface tab. Not sure though. Not sure why they changed that  ???

EDIT: Oh, you already have names turned on. Sorry about that. Don't know what the issue is then.

When you don't see a mark level shown, that just means that it is "default mark level" or lower.  On most difficulties that is mark I or II. You'll see the mark levels for III, IV, and V when you find planets of that sort.  Consider yourself lucky!

Oh, so MK II planets actually exist? Since I never saw a planet with MK II next to it, I thought they didn't exist. I guess I assumed the MK levels for the planets would be the same as MK levels for ships, as in only MK I ships have no numeral.

IIRC, Mk. I planets can only exist on AI planets next to the player's home. All other "unnumbered" planets are Mk. II
So in other words, almost all the "unnumbered" planets are Mk. II.
