Parasites and Control Groups
« on: July 25, 2015, 06:50:27 pm »
So, as fun as parasitic units are... I can't stand using them.  I use control groups to keep tabs on my fleet, and units claimed through any parasitic means aren't added to control groups, at least that I can find.  Is this a setting or a control i can set?  I end up leaving behind loads of ships that I may capture with parasitic units...

And, if this isn't something i can do, is there any issues on Mantis about it?

Good thing I literally never use control groups in AI War except for Golems and such.
Anyway.. There is an option called "Reclaimed ships rally to rally post". It makes reclaimed ships to.. surprise surprise.. rally to a rally post.. which means It's mostly for defense when you're fighting on one of_your_planets. Other than that no there are no other control options for reclaimed ships. So you will have to manually select and add them to your prefered control group.
