Nanoswarms need to be fixed.  Nanoswarms are completely useless now, they simply don't do enough damage to hit that 50% cap to actually allow for reclaiming anything.

Ok, question here: is it 50% from a single parasite, or 50% from parasites total?

50% from total.

I agree, but I've toasted ships at 100% with nanoswarms and still didn't get reclaimed. So something else might be happening

Perhaps they should stop doing reclaimation at all, and just do paralysis/engine damage? A pure utility unit in that case..

I've never been a fan of those. I tried a game with them, and they wern't nearly as useful as other parasite ships even back then, I can't imagine it now. I always thought it would be better if they did damage over time after they exploded and tag a ship for recclimation if they did the afore mentioned damage threshold.

Man, I loved Nanoswarms back before the change.  I'd spit them out so fast and use them as autobombs that can reclaim.  The engine damage and paralysis was a mega bonus for defending your planets as well.  They were still weaker than autobombs, but if you managed to get both nanoswarms AND autobombs?  freaking ridiculous inter-galactic AOE reclamator machine gun.

Althought I am sad my horde of 6000 (mk I, II, III, IV) zenith shreddes made form capturing ~30 units wil no longer be so easy to make, its for the best ;) besides, they were using insane ammounts of energy so I had to micro them into on/off when needed :P

Glad you liked the mk lv +1 idea, I think its a reasonable balance based on Mk level.
