Achievement Hunter

I personally play on steam, and I'm sure some others do. If you don't know, steam has steam achievements for the game such as having an excess energy of 500,000  , defeating a mad bomber on lvl 10 difficulty, and the famous "double godlike" achievement. What I would like is someone to give tips to get the achievements, ON a standard map (no cheats or other stuff like handicaps since i remember using handicaps still gives you the achievement.)

If you do that, you basically gave us tips and tricks to defeat a specific ai type (as much of the achievements) which i'm sure i will appreciate, please and thank you ;)

I wonder if x came up with those achievment names, those are hiliarious :D
well, i can see that it's usually win against ai type on any difficulty, lvl 7 and lvl9. great if someone just gave general tips on how to beat ai types and funny humor to do those funny stuff such as scrapping 1 million ships or so.

For scrapping that many ships, do it alongside the one to reclaim that many ships. It's much easier, however, to get the reclaim one with a Botnet golem, but then they can't be scrapped I don't think.

For godlike/double godlike do it on a 10 planet map where you start with 8 of the 10 planets (as a single player).  Spokes is the best map-type IMO.
It's "almost cheating" but it will give you the achievement and will still be difficult (took me at least 3 tries).

8 out of 10 planets, just WOW, mind blowing, you fight ai homeworld immediately with tons of resources with at least 1, at most 16 wormholes to defend. great idea,

Spokes is the best, as you'd want the planet that connect to every other.  2 wormholes to defend against very low progress AIs.

Yes, you assault the AI homeworld on the first go, and it is alerted, but you have 8 special unit ships with 8 times the normal shipcap (each!)  So you get 3 (base) + 8 (special) = 11 * 8 = 88 times the normal starting ship cap.  And then you have Knowledge, which is actually reduced (compared to 8 players). 2500 per planet * 8 = 20000 + 10000 (initial) = 30,000 knowledge.  Riots, Zenith Spires, MRS, and bascially any 4 ships you want to have at Mk3 (haven't done the math on that though, but 30k knowledge is a lot).
