Not like other RTS?

Ah, cool, thanks for the French-Canadian expression explanation. :)  I didn't get a chance to get my wife to look at it tonight, but I mentioned it to her and her first comment was that she wondered if she'd recognize your dialect (or whatever the proper word is).  I'll have to get her to look at it tomorrow, without the aid of your cheat-sheet, and see if she gets it.

I wish I was better at languages, alas all I know are English and Latin, and my Latin is old and poor.  All my vocabulary is gone, but at least I remember my declensions, conjugations, and general forms.

I definitely do intend to keep growing the game over the next year or two at least -- I hate having to switch RTS games every year or so because I get tired of the AI and the content gets repetitive, and now I don't have to. :)  I can just keep adding to this one, making it one of the hugest RTS games out there (like Dawn of War with its 5 expansions or something, but maybe not quite that big).

Glad you're getting ever more into the game, let me know if you have any more questions with it at any point.

I did the basic tutorials, but have not yet completed the most advanced tutorial, where you actually play a game (with strategic guidance). I'll wait for your soon-to-be-released update to spend more serious time in the game.

Gotcha, cool -- that should be out "asap" according to my contact at Stardock.  That's as precise as I know at the moment. :)

By the way, I got my wife to look at your Quebec french, and she was able to understand it but it took her a minute to get the connotation of what that meant.  Expressions and idioms in different languages (and even different locales that use the same language) are so fascinating to me.  Thanks for the explanation of that one!

I gotta chime in on this. In my opinion, your game has already got more content than DoW, plus DoW is redundant on it's expansions. The 2 Eldar factions are mostly superficial changes, one looks alien-elf like the other gothic-alien-elf like for example. The expansions were not balanced either. In the first expansion the new faction, Imperial Guard if I recall, was so underpowered that only 20% of the games people played as them won. AI War is different and better than Dawn of War because it's balanced overall and gives me the feeling of "I got a chance, but I'm not steamrolling the AI by a longshot." Pat yourself on the back for that accomplishment.

Also I'm starting to become Tri-Lingual, native English and I'm starting to feel natural in Latin Spanish, German is only so and so but I heard my great-grandma keep cussing in it so it's coming along.

Hmm, I didn't know that.  I never actually played the expansions there, myself.  I played the demo of their game a lot, but ultimately decided against buying that game because of the lack of random maps.  I really liked the gameplay, but without random maps the longevity just wasn't there for me.

Awesome, haha -- stuff like that is always good to hear. :)

I wish I was able to speak more languages, but I've never had the knack for it.  Maybe if I lived in a foreign country for a few years I would get better at it.  Of course, when overseas it seems like most people want to practice their English with you, so sometimes even that is not as much immersion as one would prefer!  But I'm definitely in awe by bi-lingual and tri-lingual people.
