Update button not working

Is the in game update button not working (It doesn't for me)? I have a steam install if that makes a difference.

It is disabled intentionally. Steam will deliver updates for you. Automatic updates is one of the advertised features of Steam.  :)

Volatar's correct. That button probably should've been disabled entirely in Steam, but so it goes.

Well, last I heard, the button was grayed out and unusable for the Impulse version (which doesn't do updates through the game), while the Steam one is clickable. Disabling the button altogether would be a lot more clear for users, whereas the current setup might make it seem like the updater is broken.

hrmm... I don't have the patch that makes colony ships transportable in transports... should I?
