Ships are in order from the worth to the... "least worst"? (kinda)
Turrets (Remove the 0,1 damage multiplier vs Commander Grade)
Ultra-Light and Swarmer ships
Teleport Raider (By far the most useless ship in the game. It can't fight nor raid. And DTs, CPs and Raid Engines are immune to Minor Electric)
Deflector Drone
Infiltrator
Electric Shuttle
Raptor (Expensive and doesn't do anything)
Neinzul Youngling Commando
Raider
Zenith Electric Bomber
Anti-Armor Ship (What is that?! It's a mosquito!.. No! It's a fly!.. NO! It's a PAPER PLANE!)
Spire Teleporting Leech (Halve the price omg a cap of these costs almost as much as a cap of starships)
Flagship
Teleport Battle Station

Zenith Trader (Too expensive)

We have VERY different experiences regarding these two ships.  Between having a free-floating cap-level force of defenders in every system with the Viral Shredders and the Raptors being one of my absolute FAVORITE units (in particular when playing hunt the Zombard/Spawner/Sniper/etc) for raiding and high speed response team, it may just be a playstyle difference.

Buffing raptors however, when in the AI's hands... that's something I really wouldn't want to see.
... and then we'll have cake.

*Nomination: Gravity turrets
   In addition to the reason above, going up in mark gives a buff in slow down amount, get a buff in slowdown distance, get a buff in cap HP, and keeps a consistent cap. All of these together make the higher marks of grav turrets severely OP. At least one or two of those increases (or for the last one, consistency) over mark needs to go. Also, it should be noted, like all the other Mk. I grav units, even the Mk. I grav turret has a really crazy big slowdown for how cheap they are to get.


Seconded with minor adjustment. Either range increase or gravity increase has to go . Preferrably gravity increase as the upgrade on gravity alone would probably be next worthless. MK III gravity turrets make practically everything irrelevant.

Viral Shredders are useful more for their ability to be endless damage sponges than for the actual damage they put out - I'm perfectly fine with that.

Shredders are good. I also remember before they were nerfed, I had 2000 of them because they multiplied so quickly.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

I consider them to be among the best units in terms of managing to have three units with the same attack method but playing very different.

That are slower than 75% of all other ships.  Seriously, they're slower than frigates and they insist on "bouncing" off their target so they end up moving in the opposite direction of said target for a moment, which insures that 90% of the time, they don't land more than 1 hit.

And they're melee units, so they don't break off when their target is effectively out of range (i.e. target is faster and more than 1 unit away)

Are we talking about the same thing? 

Cutlasses are the super-fast and cheap melee units that hurt themselves.  They're great on defense because you sit them on a wormhole, then they are already on top of their target and do a lot of damage while soaking up some as well. 

Shredders are the really slow ones, and yeah, they don't do that much damage but they breed like bunnies.
