New wave sizes
« on: January 21, 2011, 11:25:20 am »
Hey. Great work getting so much done, but I have two questions. One, do you think balancing this new wave size formula will take several iterations, or is thenew equation pretty close as is? Two, when can we start testing the new wave sizes?

It might need to be multiplied by a straight up 1.1 or 1.2 or so in the first step because the difficulty ceiling is too low, but I don't think too many people are going to run into that problem anyway because original difficulty 9 wasn't exactly where most people went without cheesing settings as far as I am aware, and that's about where to top is now.
