More Videos please =)

Greetings.

AI War is one of those games that I love to watch other people play, but dont often have the time or patience to play myself   (yes, I'm fat and old, lol)

I've watched all the video's on Youtube a few times over and am hereby officially requesting MOAR =)

But it would be better for advertising the game as well,  most of the time when people are considering the prospect of buying a new game they will seek to watch some video's, and videos go a very a loonng way.   I'd say in all honesty that every game I've bought in the past few years have often been on the strength of videos.

Anyway, Mr. x4000, if your listening, I really enjoy your 'first 5 minute' video tutorials and wonder if, when you have time, you could make some more comprehensive videos maybe based on 3.0 and the new expansion,  makes for a great marketing technique   and I promise to buy it, even if I probably wouldnt play it much

Have you watched some of the community made videos? There are a decent # on XFire videos as well as YouTube (I have one up on both). Once I get comfortable w/ 3.0  I will be probably doing another few videos.

Yes, I watched yours! (more pls  ) I've watched all of x4000 videos on youtube, even ones of the old versions.  I couldnt find hardly any others at all which suprises me really.

Probably dont need to be anything special, just like yours, some music and someone playing.

Glad you enjoyed the videos!  I'm sure I will do more of them over the coming months, it's just a matter of timing at the moment.  But, there are definitely a variety of new topics I want to touch on.  Thanks for your support!

Hmmm, why not hook up a page where users can post videos, that should add to the comunity

Well, I am certainly open to that -- a big selection of player videos would be great -- but I don't know what sort of platform people would prefer to use for that.  There's already an xFire page for that, for instance.

true....but the aiwars comunity isnt all that strong, not as much as this one...

Sure -- but I'm not an expert on what people might want to use for recording and uploading videos.  We can't host that sort of thing ourselves, so it has to be some other sort of service -- youtube, xFire, something.  So it's definitely a question for the community as to what they might like to see.

I'm sure Youtube would be the best tbh.  I dont know of another video hosting medium thats more popular or that would receive more hits.

Eve Online for example uses it all the time, they have their own page n stuff, I dont know whats needed to make such a page.

In anycase, I was certainly suprised at the lack of AI Wars video's, even very unknown games have a lot.

I think you should sticky this thread and officially ask the community to make MOAR VIDEOWS
