Review on a board game website?
« on: February 19, 2010, 08:51:22 pm »
Yes, i did it - Most of my gaming is done on the tabletop. I have a collection of 70 or so 'designer' board games and am highly active on the site boardgamegeek.

I recently did a review for AI War on this site.  Why, you ask?  It actually feels very much like a complex board game. There are quite a few games out there that are co-op, against the odds sort of experiences, deep strategy abound.

Anyways, feel free to take a look(and peek around the 'geek, if you like :) )

Many thanks for the review!  I'm a big fan of BGG myself, as I'm quite a frequent boardgamer (you can find my "Fast Tactics" variant for Descent: JITD posted by me on BGG, actually, if you're interested).  Whenever I'm in a local (non-video) games store mulling the various boxes with their nondescriptive theme-related notes, I find BGG almost as helpful as the shop owners for finding diamonds in the rough and weeding out the stuff that is too similar to the rest of my (sizable) collection.  Very cool to see a review of something of mine on there. :)
