Normally, I don't mind my threads going horribly off topic. This, however, is a bit much.
But it may result in a bunny-shaped transport that abducts the player home command station.

That is a terrifying thought.

I would not mind you in my head if you were not so clearly mad.

Accompanied by a pancake golem?

Most probably.

Man, brainstorming for the AIpril Fools expansion is in full swing!
(I secretly hope that it happens even though it probably shouldn't)

Obviously the pancake is abducting the bunny, it's just about to take off and fly away with the bunny stuck to its underside.

Sigh.
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

didn't really mean to derail it that much. I really do like making the player miserable. Yes. Subcommander fleet things are an amazing idea.

I don't think you're helping ;)

@Faulty: Sorry, I've been trying to make topic-oriented comments, but it's not working.  The derailing is nothing personal, we just can't help it.

I'd go on about various things to make players miserable but I've already got so much on my plate right now (including a good bit of player misery, see 6.006 changes to astro trains) that I'm not sure I want to personally encourage more ;)

EDIT: I will have more sensible comments tomorrow. Sleepy time! I did have something to say. Too bad I was too tired to write it and now I've forgotten it.

Yeah in all seriousness, it's not as if I was intentionally trying to ignore you or the topic at hand. Seems to just sort of happen in the community at large.

One of mine, not very high on the misery scale compared to some of these, but definitely going to cause the occasional teeth-grinding rage: Neinzul Predator Clusters. Think a cross between a Neinzul Cluster and the Devourer Golem.

Sentinel and Enforcer: Basically calls the cops on you.

Neinzul Clusters are fairly easy to kill if you want to, the only reason you wouldn't want to shoot them is because you don't want to release the stored units. Also I'm not sure that storing allied units and swallowing enemies works since AFAIK both of these use the transport mechanism.
