Mankind is finally safe once and for all.

The AI warp grid is now shut down. The last AI galactic control station has been destroyed. Nothing describes the victory better then this screenshot.

Many players may not think this, but I view Dark Spire as the closest to AI War having a plague.

Especially when you have it at 10/10, its release will determine the course of a game. It is possible as a human you cannot survive it. But you may. If you do, then it is up to the AI to survive it as well. They do not always.

The "actor" who best deals with a 10/10 dark spire will win. As it should be.

God(s), I love the mechanic.

The only reason why the darkspire got so many ships is that the AI galactic control ship lets off a multi planet nuke when it dies.

That is hilarious... I've always had them disabled after my first attempt with them (which was at 10, btw) absolutely crushed me.

This inspires me to enable it, and attempt it again.

The GCS is part of the Showdown Devices minor faction, which is an alternate win condition when enabled.
