What if things evolve so source of AI's threat toward humanity exist where human can not have access? What if what AI's into it has accomplished before human destroys 2 AI home command station?

This came in mind what if AI have succeeded in reproducing itself.
Human will have to fight endless war with ever increasing AI unless human war capacity increase exceeds that of AI. Or a possibility of making use of AI again to fight AI? Smells like new game mechanism.

How about there's a phase in game where AI gains reproducing capacity and human gains a way to
re-subordinate existing AI to fight other AI?
EDIT: What if human gained capacity of reproduce home command station learning from AI?

There could be a situation where human fight reproduced AI with re-subordinated original AI.

I just got some fuzzy idea came into my mind so just wrote instead of just let it go.

You people are nuts! Reproducing AIs? How do you come up with this stuff? Lets just give them a Borg Cube and let them assimilate us already!! Humanity will never have a chance with all the forum frequenters suggesting these super AI buffs. We can re-subordinate them, they say. They will fight among themselves, they say. Exponential growth, I say! An unbeatable intelligence, I say! The end of humanity is neigh!

Not wishing to detract from the comments above, but,

Personally i see the need for the introduction of the Space Colonising Uber Monkey's (SCUM) as a token allied faction for humanity in the epic struggle with the AI

I recently played host to one of their prestigious emissaries aboard my Home Command, a monkey by the name of Mr Tiddles, he suggested an allied war on two fronts ... he said something about an exo-galactic wormhole but i forget the details.  It's damn hard to concentrate when confronted with a waistcoat wearing battle primate replete with shield generating cymbols and banana blasters, anyway i digress,

This is most certainly an avenue to be investigated further
