How does one bind a galaxy filter to a key from custom search - narrow?

Thanks in advance.

If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

You mean to activate the narrow filter?  Should be a keybind in there for that.  If not I can add it.

Or do you mean to activate a specific narrow filter (not just the last one selected)?  That's not in there.

From the 6.006 patch notes:
Quote
[custom search broad and narrow] can be keybound like all the other galaxy display options, but default is unbound.

Say I want the "c" key to correspond to the last selected custom search (narrow). How do I make it so?

That was what I meant, but the last selected is good enough.

1) Open Settings
2) Click "View Controls" in the bottom-left corner of the settings window
3) Click "Galaxy View" tab
4) Click the right-arrow at the bottom to get to the page 6.
5) On the line with  "Set Galaxy Display Mode To Custom Search (Narrow)", click "Edit"
6) Next to "Primary Key", click the button (it will say "None" at first)
7) Press C
8 ) Left-click the button again
9) Click "Save"

Ah, the labyrinths we've made.

The idea is that in 4 more years, AI War has so many menus that people think that's the game-- until they finally unbury the main campaign button. Is that the grand master plan? =o
