How to scrap a ship/turret etc.

Maybe I'm being really dim but if I accidentally click and place 5 or 50 of something when I want one, or if I have secured a wormhole and want to get rid of all the static defense I have there so I can use it elsewhere, how do I scrap my ship/turret please?

I can't see an onscreen icon for it, nothing in keys in settings and nothing in the Wiki (is there a pdf manual btw? - I can't seem to find one).

It just seems very odd - usually the delete or scrap icon is very visible in RTS games...

Just select the units you want to delete and then press the delete key. A red warning will pop up and ask you if you want to continue. Press enter, and you scrapped them.

LOL - I tried it with the 'D' key - didn't even think of using 'delete' - doh!
