I am almost envious. But I am getting too old for that. My kids are grown up now, and I haven't totally forgotten how hard work it actually was to turn this little in-house savage into a decent fellow human ;).

But don't get discouraged by this, it is hard work to raise children, but at the same time very, very rewarding. Prepare for a new life!

Yeah, I hear you. It's definitely going to be life altering, and hopefully mostly in good ways. I've been working like crazy on the Arcen stuff for a long time to make sure it was at a stable, sustainable place by the time my son arrives... And a place where I don't need to work 80 hour weeks every week, etc. Those first few weeks of having a new baby intimidate me -- all the lack of sleep, and needing to still be functional -- but other than that I'm not too worries about it. This has been a long time coming, and the time is really right, etc.

I do believe that's called caffeine...

When it comes to newborns, even caffeine meets its match.  Particularly if they have colic.

I'd suggest something stronger then; like those 5-hour shots. But those can only go so far i suppose :)

Yea, parenting is already a terminal condition, no need to push things further ;)

Yeah, I'm already heavily caffeine-dependent anyway, so that's going to make for even less wiggle room with me, which is my fear.  I'm sure it will work out, but that's the one part that has me worried at the moment.

It is actually no problem, you quickly learn to sleep with your eyes open.

;D  You guys might not like it if I code in that state, though. ;)

You'll be amazed of what you are actually capable of while asleep. Just don't tell  us, and we won't notice at all.  ;)

Sounds good. Congratulations on being a new dad. I have one request: please make these releases available on steam. It feels like the most recent puzzle game never made it to steam, and so I didn't buy it. The reason I like steam is because I can easily put my games and manage them on my computers without having to manage a bunch of disks. I have also run into a problem where my games I have accumulated over the years, the CDs are no longer working on some of them due to normal wear and tear. This is horrifying for me, because I feel like I purchased the product, I should be able to play it as long as I want even if it is for years at a time. If I use steam, I don't have to worry about that problem. So please support digital distribution.

Once again, congratulations.

x said tidalis, and the con expansion will be on steam, and i can guess or hope that a valley without wind will be on steam too

(it's not some flash game, it's a aaa game developed over MONTHS so yeah, better than a lot of games you can find on steam)

Personally I can't imagine us _not_ trying to get any of our titles onto Steam; but obviously Valve has to agree too ;)

Okay, that's cool. I remember that the puzzle game was supposed to be available, and I guess it will be now? I thought it was going to be earlier because people have been playing it for a bit now. Either way, I am a big fan of arcen, and I would like to support you guys with my patronage, just as long as it doesn't put me in a bad gaming situation as I described.
