Actually, take the wormhole sprite, grey-scale it and use that as the no new posts icon. Use the green wormhole to represent unread posts.

Now that's a cool idea. :)

Swap to the Arcen Theme, you can watch Chris develop in real-time. :)

I'm sure that will be the next ESPN show.  Watching people program!  Even more exciting than poker! ;)

That could be awesome.

"And now, Chris has been thrown out of the plane at 8000 ft, the parachute will only open if he can code a working bubble sort algorithm while in freefall, does he have the skill to survive?"

Ahahahaha. :)  A bubble sort?  I think I could manage that in time.

Actually, i keep it with my ego

"All change i didn't suggest is bad change" ;p  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I actually wanted to post on the first suggestion relating to the theme in the forum but i figured it might be too harsh to say "A Forum is not supposed to display your brand, but to offer communication, therefor i am against a theme change."

In many ways this is also a design imperative which i guess coders don't have  ;D - "Never clutter up a working display with silly things." (ie. cloaking indicators  :P)

I never mistook this forum for a fan-forum. After all the website links directly here

Yeah, that had occurred to me as well.  But he also has a point that it's good to be as professional as possible.

Cloaking indicators actually matter, though!  They give you vital information about whether your stuff is visible to the enemy or not.

True enough.

And... now everyone is on the "new" theme.  We have:

1. The Arcen logo added up at the top, a very small.
2. Updated new-post icons (wormholes wouldn't work with gifs, sorry Rev).
3. Larger text areas.

And that's it!

You need to change the posts icons legend, it still shows the old icons at the bottom.

Yep. And aside from that, I think it's great. Well done. :D

Fixed.  I didn't even notice that thing was down there.

Great work! Liking the new icons. Having the logo up there is a big improvement too.

I'm about to reveal my extreme ignorance of forum terminology... but what's a favicon?

Well, it's not forum specific, but rather the icon that's used for the page you're viewing anywhere on the internet (for example, Google has the g favicon). When you bookmark a page, this icon usually accompanies the bookmark.
