the little satellite looking button next to the mini-map.

Also, the same button is on the galaxy map on the left

Thanks.

Also, how can I give resource, and where can I find other instruction about co-op?

See the wiki (link at the top of the page) for more info on co op. There is no direct way to gift a resource, but there are several indirect ways:

Cap out the resource at 600k, at which point the excess goes to your ally.
Direct your engineers to assist them with whatever they are constructing.
Give them some of your extractors for that resource.

I actually would like to see that past messages be saved in the save files so old and new players can recall what has been discussed about in the past after a reload or join in.
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

Extensive chat is nontrivial in size and often irrelevant after a period of time. It would increase save game size (and sync time) by a lot. As in 2x or 3x or more by the end of a long game with a lot if chat, potentially. Aside from the fact that if you are using voice chat, this does not help much. And aside from the fact that if it did not maintain flare positions, a lot of the older dialogue would likely be nonsensical.

My solution to all of those issues was the existing notes feature, which your team can use to leave detailed and relevant notes on the galaxy map so that you can later come back and remember what the heck was going on.

When playing a co-op game I found I was having the same problems.  An easy solution I would have thought, would be to display the last 3-4 chat lines constantly until they are replaced by new chat lines.  No need to save anything, but to be able to see what has been said, maybe with a timestamp, would be great.

That was it's not too clunky, doesn't take up much room and doesn't affect the save games.

If you really want too save chat that was said in game,
Why not request a in game feature that would save the chat, where whenever it saves it would save the chat too a text document.

This way if you want too know what was going on in between play time, you could always open it in notepad and read what was going on.

That's an excellent idea!  Going to the suggestion forums now.

Please note: that feature already exists, and has since last June or so. ;)

Typical Arcen response time.  Ask for something and it take -6 months to implement.
