Is it supposed to do that?
« on: November 16, 2010, 02:10:59 pm »
Hello, been having a few problems lately(or what i think are problems).

First i can't build MicroFighters when i have cloaked ships disabled. However these ships aren't cloaked are they?  They are just supposed to detect cloaked ships.

Second when i nuke someone it destroys all the planets in the whole galaxy. Is it supposed to do that?

Thanks for any help ^_^

When cloaked ships are disabled, then all the ships that have tachyon beams are also disabled, since that's only useful against cloaked ships.  A lot of people would complain if they got the microfighters without cloaking on, since half their function would be gone!

Second when i nuke someone it destroys all the planets in the whole galaxy. Is it supposed to do that?

Which nuke?  Nuke 3, or nuke 1?  That's what the nuke 3 does, sounds like you may be using that?

Ahhh ok thanks, That makes sense.

Yeah i've been using the 'nuke em' command(gives one of each). So that must be why it was doing it.

Thanks!

Wait. what?! O_O
Time travel in the classic sense has no place in rational theory, but temporal distortion does exist on the quantum level, and more importantly it can be controlled.

Okay, I suggest an achievement for actually using something that utterly ludicrous.

We can call it "Now We Are All Sons Of Bitches".

Ahahahah, wait let's expand this some:

Using a Mark 1+ Nuke: "Stopped Worrying And Loved The Bomb"
Using a Mark 2+ Nuke: "Now We Are All Sons Of Bitches"
Using a Mark 3 Nuke: "Now I Am Become Death; Destroyer Of Worlds"

... Maybe shuffle those around some. Also:

Using any Nuke against a Scorched Earth AI: "Fail-Deadly"

An achievement for using a Nuke 3 and winning was suggested ages ago, though (as Keith said at the time) it clearly has to be called "It's the only way to be sure."

I absolutely love these achievements. Hahahahaha

I was going to suggest this, but apparently I'm late.
