Starships currently are limitted to a max of +20% attack boost.

Given that they have had a nerf in their damage, I think to compensate for tactics that boost damage that they become more in line with fleet ships, who have much more damage already yet are allowed to get +100% in damage. Right now, if you pursue a heavy starship game, the flagship lags behind since it already gives +40% and thus doubles the starship cap, thus I leave it behind.

I think their max boost should be increased, thinking +50% to make it so that both the Military Command Station II and the flagship II both have a benefit.

or, youknow, 100%.

Starships no longer are the pure utility they once were (read: Back when we only had like three starships). I think its time for equality.

I certainly wouldn't mind 100%, but I try offer baby steps with hope they are implemented quickly, rather then a drawn out poll, discussion, etc.  :)

They're not actually capped at +100%.  You can get greater boosts from a Mark III or higher Munitions Booster or (I presume) Mark IV Flagship.

Or, in the AI's case, Interplanetary Munitions Boosters (I think I've seen 220% before).  Also, Mk III Military Command Stations for the players.

The only reason for not increasing the attack bonus limit of starships is their high single ship dps (due to low cap).  I think it would balance out, but I mention it to try and cover all the bases.  I am all for increasing their attack boost limit.

No.

Starship attack boost cap does need to go up.

So does turret, but not by as much.

EDIT: if turret attack boost cap does go up, and guardians currently also have a non-standard attack boost cap, then the guardians' cap should go up as well.
