I keep getting crashes to desktop and massive speed fluctuations. I would like to know if anyone else is finding these issues so that I can find if the problem is on my end or with the current state of the game. When we played a month or so back we had nothing but a bit of lag.

Version 5.047 is unstable and I'm working on getting a more stable version out.  What was the first version you hit this in?

I can't really say that it was this version since I have not played multi-player for a month or so. I sorry I could not be of more help. BTW love the new backgrounds!

Glad you're liking the backgrounds, Chris did a good job with them :)

5.048 is out as of a little bit ago and is being a lot more stable for people than 5.047 was, can you give that a shot?  Thanks :)

Yes apart from a few syncing issues at first there were no more slow downs or crashes. The game lags a bit as it always does on multilayer but still perfectly playable. Oh and yes we did die, two  exo galactic waves with golems hit both of our homeworlds simultaneously and somehow we got nuked on one homeworld  three times. I have no idea how that happened since I did not know the ai used nuke. Either way it was terrifying!

You didn't happen to have a nuke or three you had built lying around in your home system?

Did it always lag like this? It seems a bit worse lately.

Hmm, someone may want to test this out with two computers on the same LAN. If there is still noticeable lag, then maybe a Mantis report is in order.

No we didn't have any nukes. I still can't think what it could have been.
