But it would be interesting micro.  That is, micromanagement that would be interesting to perform because the AI would be more intelligent with its tachyons, rather than micro for the sake of micro.

I'm finding scouting decent as it is right now. Not really anything wrong but not too interesting either. Only real problem I see would be if you're playing a map larger than the number of scouts you get like Toranth mentioned.

If the seeding of ai tachyon coverage changes it might be a bit more micromanagement to avoid what's there which might get annoying fast if you can't remember where they are. But I guess it would be quicker to clean them up if you want to if there's fewer.
