Cycle between planets
« on: March 07, 2011, 04:47:28 am »
As far as I know thre isn't a shortcut and I have always to manually select on the map each planet to see it. I think a shortcut it would be really handy...

Hitting tab again will take you back to the planet view of the planet you were last on. Unless you want to have a shortcut for specific planets. I don't think there's any way to implement that for a game that could have 120 planets in it. However, maybe a hotkey to go to your homeworld, or go to the most recent planet that is under attack, or jump to any planet that is under alert for incoming waves. Those could probably be mildly useful.

What I mean is that sometime I have to make an action or check something on each of my planets. To do this I have to hit TAB, select the planet, make the action, hit TAB again, select the other planet, make the action and so on....
With a shortcut (like "view next planet") I could cycle rapidly between all my planets, without passing through the galaxy map each time :-\.

I guess I could see that being useful for a playstyle that favors holding as few planets as possible. I tend to take too many, so cycling through every one of them would get silly near the end game.
